Thank You, WIN Volunteers

April 14th, Working In Neighborhoods held a luau to recognize our wonderful, hardworking volunteers for all their work over the past year.  In 2014, more than 200 individuals gave over 1,200 hours of service to support WIN’s mission. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do, and we are deeply grateful for their time, sweat, and generosity.

WIN gave four awards to recognize volunteers who have gone over and above in their service to WIN and the communities we serve. Two individual volunteers and two volunteer groups were honored.

Individuals: Marian Guilford and Patricia Schloemer

Groups: Catholic Heartworks Camp and P&G FemCare Group

Thanks to all of our volunteers who have cheerfully done everything from demolition and construction, working with our youth programs, sending out newsletters, to answering our phones! And a special thanks to the students from UC’s Lindner School of Business, who created our volunteer slide show and helped us plan, set-up, decorate, and clean up our 2015 Volunteer Event !
