Working in Neighborhoods (WIN) also offers Financial Literacy Workshops. The purpose of these workshops are to teach people how to stretch their paychecks, mange their credit cards, reduce their debt, maintain their homes and meet other financial goals!
“We were not the average clients. Our credit was good and we just needed someone to shepherd us through refinancing. Our counselor was wonderful. She recognized the unique nature of our needs and gave us the correct information quickly and succinctly. Our efforts were successful and we have refinanced, lowering our overall interest rate by almost three full points, resulting in a monthly savings of slightly over $100 a month. This had a huge impact on our little economy since my wife has not been employed full-time for three years now.
We are very grateful to WIN for their counseling and care and love the organization. Sister Barb ROCKS and Myra is an angel. Can’t thank you enough.”
